Orange Line between Kavi Subhash and Hemant Mukherjee stations from Monday, resulting in a 50% increase in passenger count. The service now operates every 20 minutes from 8 am to 8 pm from Monday to Friday. The decision to operate services on Saturdays was later revoked. Metro authorities are confident that extending services to Beleghata will be beneficial to passengers and boost ridership.

Hemant Mukherjee station ke beech Orange Line pe frequency aur operation hours badha diye hain Monday se, jiske wajah se passenger count 50% badh gaya hai. Ab service Monday se Friday tak 8 am se 8 pm tak har 20 minutes mein chalti hai. Saturday ko service chalane ka decision baad mein cancel kar diya gaya. Metro authorities ko yakin hai ki Beleghata tak service extend karne se passengers ko fayda hoga aur ridership bhi badhega.
