The Government Railway Police (GRP) in Secunderabad, Telangana, arrested Shudarshan Nahak, a 54-year-old tea stall owner from Odisha, at Secunderabad Railway Station on September 13, 2024. Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad, seized 8.6 kg of ganja from two men, Chaman Kumar and Sainath, both from Bihar, on September 13, 2024. Another accused, Rohan Kumar, is absconding. The police have registered cases under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act in both incidents. Earlier, the Excise Enforcement Department seized 220 gm of ganja and 11 gm of opium drugs in the Shamirpet area.
