Mumbai Local News: Western Railway to Convert 10 Trains to 15-Coach From October 1

Western Railway will convert 10 existing 12-coach local trains to 15-coach trains starting October 1st. This expansion is aimed at reducing passenger congestion and increasing capacity. Dadar and Virar, one between Virar and Churchgate, one between Borivali and Churchgate, two between Churchgate and Andheri, three between Churchgate and Goregaon, and one between Churchgate and Nalasopara. Furthermore, six services will be extended (three in each direction) and 16 other services will have operational changes, such as a shift from slow to fast services for certain trains. This increase in 15-coach trains aims to provide relief to passengers, especially during peak hours.

Iske saath hi, six services ko extend kiya jaayega (three har direction mein) aur 16 other services mein operational changes honge, jaise ki kuch trains ko slow se fast services mein convert karna. 15-coach trains ki yeh badhotari passengers ko relief dene ka maksad hai, khass kar peak hours mein.
