The electrification of tracks has also seen substantial growth, averaging 142 km per year from 2014–24, whereas it was NIL during the previous period. Additionally, 60 stations are being developed as Amrit stations, with 50 in Assam and one each in Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim, and Tripura. The General Manager of the Northeast Frontier Railways, Chetan Shrivastava, confirmed the allocation of sufficient funds for infrastructure and safety-related works. He highlighted the electrification of 921 RKM in 2023–24 and the target of 1573 RKM electrification in 2024–25, aiming to complete electrification across all Northeastern states. The budget allocation also includes significant funding for new lines and doubling projects (Rs. 8378.53 crore), track renewal and bridge works (Rs. 1305.07 crore), signalling and telecom works (Rs. 170 crore), and passenger amenity improvements at stations (Rs. 537 crore).

Iske alawa, 60 stations ko Amrit stations ke roop mein develop kiya ja raha hai, jinmein 50 Assam mein aur ek-ek Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim, aur Tripura mein hai. Northeast Frontier Railways ke General Manager, Chetan Shrivastava, ne infrastructure aur safety-related works ke liye kaafi fund allocate hone ki confirm ki. Unhone 2023–24 mein 921 RKM ka electrification hone aur 2024–25 mein 1573 RKM electrification ka target hone ki baat batayi, jiska maqsad saare North-Eastern states mein electrification ko complete karna hai.
