Various dams, including Khadakwasla, Mulshi, and Tata Power-Mulshi, increased water discharges, impacting several areas in Pune and Pimpri Chinchwad. The Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSDECL) shut down electricity supply to certain areas due to flooding. Pune Municipal Commissioner Rajendra Bhonsale advised residents to take precautions and provided emergency contact numbers. The IMD warned of waterlogging, traffic jams, and low visibility due to the intense rainfall.
