He highlighted the significant increase in railway budget allocation for Odisha since 2014, claiming that the state's allocation has risen from Rs 800 crore to Rs 10,000 crore. Vaishnaw also mentioned the increased construction of railway lines under the current government, rising from 45 km per year during the UPA government to 450 km per year. He emphasized Prime Minister Modi's commitment to developing Odisha and ensuring a brighter future for its youth. In addition, Vaishnaw inspected the ongoing redevelopment of Puri Railway station, describing it as a world-class project inspired by Lord Jagannath.

Vaishnaw ne yeh bhi bataya ki current government mein railway lines ki construction 45 km per year se badhkar 450 km per year ho gayi hai. Unhone PM Modi ko Odisha ko develop karne ke liye dedicated bolte hue kaha ki Modiji Odisha ke youth ke liye ek bright future ensure karne ke liye din raat kaam kar rahe hain. Vaishnaw ne Puri Railway station ke re-development ko inspect kiya aur use ek world-class station bola. Unhone bataya ki Puri railway station ke new building ka design Lord Shree Jagannath se inspired hai aur kaam full speed se chal raha hai.
