for three months from December 1st to February 28th due to potential fog. Some train routes are shortened, and others partially canceled. Trains from Prayagraj, like the Prayagraj Sangam-Chandigarh Unchahar Express, Prayagraj Sangam-Yoganagri Rishikesh Express, Prayagraj-Bareilly Express, Prayagraj Rambag-Muzaffarpur Bapudham Express, Prayagraj-Chopan Express, and Kanpur Intercity Express, are usually canceled due to fog. However, to accommodate the Kumbh Mela, the railways have prepared to run nearly 1200 special trains. The decision to not cancel trains originating from Prayagraj Sangam is confirmed by Shobhun Chowdhury, General Manager of Northern Railways. There are also efforts to avoid cancellations of some long-distance trains.

Prayagraj se chalne wali Prayagraj Sangam-Chandigarh Unchahar Express, Prayagraj Sangam-Yoganagri Rishikesh Express, Prayagraj-Bareilly Express, Prayagraj Rambag-Muzaffarpur Bapudham Express, Prayagraj-Chopan Express aur Kanpur Intercity Express jaisi trains har saal fog ki wajah se cancel ki jaati hain.
