This incident echoes a similar one last year on Western Railway where a pointsman died while setting points for an engine movement.

CR ke ek official ne kaha ki aise operations ke waqt, assistant loco pilot aam tor par maujood hota hai, aur yeh incident investigate kiya jaayega. CSMT pe rozana 300 engine coupling aur uncoupling operations hote hain, kyunki yaha se bahut saare long-distance trains chalte hain. Last year, Western Railway ke Matunga workshop pe aisa hi ek incident hua tha, jismein ek senior pointsman, Kasim Shaikh, 44, engine ko move karne ke liye points set karne ke waqt mar gaya tha.
