Indian Railways is expanding its network, upgrading its fleet, and enhancing its operational efficiency to meet the ambitious target of 3,000 million tonnes of freight loading by 2030. India and Singapore signed a bilateral agreement to collaborate in the semiconductor industry, aiming to boost India's semiconductor sector and facilitate the entry of Singaporean companies into the Indian market. The Maharashtra government approved a $10 billion semiconductor manufacturing project by Tower Semiconductor and the Adani Group to be set up in Panvel, Raigad district.
