Tenders have been floated for ₹83.79 crore to install solar power plants at various locations, including Brahmapur-Palasa, Bhubaneswar-Cuttack-Paradeep-Bhadrak, Angul, Headquarters area in Bhubaneswar, Khurda Road-Puri, Paradeep-Kendujhargarh, Visakhapatnam, Visakhapatnam Electric Loco Shed, Duvvada-Palasa Main Line/Naupada-Gunupur/Vizianagaram-Rayagada, and Kottavalasa-Kirandul. Major buildings, including the Headquarters Building and Rail Sadan, have also been equipped with rooftop solar power plants. This initiative is aimed at reducing energy costs and promoting environmental sustainability.

Headquarters Building aur Rail Sadan jaise major buildings pe bhi rooftop solar power plants lagaye gaye hain. Is initiative ka maksad energy cost kam karna aur environment sustainability ko promote karna hai.
