taken after a request from Union Minister Hardeep Puri, who met with Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw and advocated for the addition. The station is being upgraded with a platform extension to 600 meters from 400 meters, and the Ministry has also requested the Mechanical Department to provide additional coaches to increase the train's frequency to three days a week. The stoppage and increased frequency are expected to benefit local residents, especially those traveling to New Delhi.
