South Western Railway Upgrades Fueling System with Automation

The South Western Railway (SWR) Bangalore Division has implemented an automated diesel filling system for trains, eliminating manual intervention. This new system, developed in collaboration with Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Limited (MRPL), automatically fills each train's 5,000-liter tank, shuts off when full, and prints a fuel receipt. This automation aims to...

improve fuel management, reduce costs, and minimize waste. The system also provides real-time data on fuel consumption, enabling better decision-making regarding fuel procurement, train operations, and route planning. Two new 500,000-liter fuel tanks have been installed at the station to support this system, which is expected to reduce risks associated with fuel shortages or surpluses.

South Western Railway (SWR) Bangalore Division ne apne train fueling system mein ek bada upgrade kiya hai, jisme automated technology ka use kiya gaya hai. Is naye system ne Friday ko launch kiya gaya hai, aur yeh trains ke diesel fill karne ki process ko automatic bana dega, jisse manual intervention...

ki zarurat nahi padegi. Yogesh Mohan, Divisional Railway Manager of South Western Railway, Bangalore, ne bataya ki yeh nayi technology trains ke engines aur power cars (air-conditioned coaches) mein integrate ki gayi hai. Yeh aage badhna Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Limited (MRPL) ke saath collaboration ka natija hai, aur yeh rail operations mein ek bada kadam hai. Is naye system ke under, har train ke diesel tank, jiske capacity 5,000 liters hai, ab automatically fill ho jaayenge. System tank ke full hone par automatically band bhi ho jaayega. Aur iske saath hi, fuel receipt refueling process ke baad immediately print ho jaayenge, jisse transaction ki detailed record milegi. Automated technology ko implement karne ka maksad fuel management ko streamline karna, costs ko kam karna aur waste ko control karna hai. Mohan ke mutabik, yeh system fuel usage se judi koi bhi problem ko quickly identify karne mein aur usko solve karne mein bhi madad karega. Fuel consumption par real-time data access karne ki ability se fuel procurement, train operations aur route planning ke baare mein decision making better ho jaayegi. Fuel inventory aur usage ki accurate tracking se fuel shortages ya surpluses se jude risks ko mitigate kiya ja sakega.
