TN has asked Railways to drop Rameshwaram-Dhanushkodi project: Minister

The Tamil Nadu government has requested the Indian Railway Ministry to allocate more trains connecting various cities in the state to the holy town of Rameswaram. The state government believes that improved train connectivity will boost tourism and pilgrimage to the revered Hindu site.

Tamil Nadu sarkar ne railway ministry se request kiya hai ki wo state ke alag-alag cities se Rameswaram tak jaane waale zyada trains allocate kare. State government ka maanana hai ki better train connectivity se Rameswaram jaane waale tourists aur pilgrims ki sankhya mein badhawa aayega.
