The proposal includes seven new Vande Bharat trains and two Amrit Bharat trains for the Gorakhpur-Delhi route, along with 17 new express trains. This plan involves developing 200 sleeper Vande Bharat trains with luxurious amenities at a cost of 26,000 crores. The railways are also planning to produce 3,200 additional Vande Bharat coaches within two years. Coaches are being manufactured at the Integral Coach Factory (ICF) in Chennai, Rail Coach Factory (RCF) in Kapurthala, and Modern Coach Factory in Rae Bareli.
