project has remained stagnant due to lack of commitment. In 2022, the then Chief Minister of Haryana had promised to expedite the project with the support of the central government and railways. The absence of any provision for the project in the recent budget has left residents of Yamunanagar disappointed, as the city lacks direct rail connectivity to other parts of Haryana, forcing people to travel to Ambala or Kurukshetra for rail transport.

token ke roop mein allocate ki gayi thi, lekin project commitment ki kami ki wajah se ruk gaya. 2022 mein, Haryana ke tab ke CM ne central government aur railways ke sahayog se project jaldi complete karne ka vaada kiya tha. Is saal ke budget mein bhi project ke liye koi provision nahi hai. Yamunanagar ke residents isse bahut disappointed hain kyunki city mein Haryana ke dusre parts tak direct rail connectivity nahi hai, aur logon ko Ambala ya Kurukshetra tak rail travel karne ke liye jana padta hai.
