fanof12801~ 499 blog postsThis is one of the favorite train for the passengers from puri, bbs, tata, prr,bksc, gomo, gaya, ddu and cnb because of its time suitability. Before Covid this train rarely arrived its destination on time whether up or down train but after this train running as Covid spl, this train maintained its punctuality very well, even cleanliness is better from earlier days, one of the most demanded and best train runs jampacked whole year and one more important thing, it runs from New Delhi due to which it has big passenger/fan base. Others are from anvt like 12875,12815,12819,22849, etc. Generally from Tata, Gaya, Ald this train has large number of crowd.

Platform ticket is not available at ticket /reservation new complex.. Only available at old ticket counter which is just at the entrance of platform no 1 of the main station building..
If u want to taste some really awesome ice creams ...then u can check in KWALITY WALLS ..which is situated between FOOD TRACK & Platform Ticket Counter , Right side of the main building
There is Krishna Food Plaza on Platform No. 1. Serves various types of meals along with rajbhogs and sandwiches.

If wish to travel from Tatanagar to Delhi , and getting heavy waiting list or regret in this train for SL class, then Book Kharagpur to New delhi and change boarding point to Tatanagar.
Tata is in RLWL quota whereas KGP is in GNWL quota, thus having more chance of confirmation or atleast getting RAC if take GNWL below 60-70 in Sleeper class.

Flight kise pasand hai ?
Train ka apna alag mazaa hota hai...Flight is a Boredom and very hassled travelling option & i always keep it as the LAST MOST option.
For travelling to Odisha , i always prefer Rajdhani for AC and Odisha Sampark kranti for SL class. I also don't prefer Purushottam due to crowd and awkward timings at BLS.

KGP to NDLS Rajdhani toh best hai....And agar SL travel karna ho toh Howrah toh hai hi Paas mein......;)
