There are many more advantages with indb-knw gc than the rtm-indb gc which save some odd 60kms, while indb-knw gc would save more than 350kms on many routes, will make indb a passing station, connectivity would increase to many more places, distance to mumbai will reduce by 100+ kms, as compared now to ~60kms saved by indb-rtm gc, new north - south and east- west corridor for many trains
