I agree, but Gadag-CSTm should be extend to Ballary not to UBL.
Hubli have trains to Mumbai, Ballary needs connection to Mumbai.

Karnataka is the only state which has 5 different zones operating, but only one zone having any division/ zone HQ. When SCoR is created, they will also 'serve' Karnataka, making it 6th zone in the state!!.
SWR is the main player. But surrounded by SR for Mangalore, SCR for NE Karnataka areas, KR for coastal areas and CR for Kalaburagi. Only SWR has 3 divisions in Karnataka. All other zones just operate with their preferences elsewhere. None of the 4 neighbouring states zones are interested in providing anything good for public.

getting a Mangalore to Bidar train, you have to approach SR Palakkad, KR at Navi Mumbai, SCR Guntakal/ secunderabad and CR Solapur.

Until unification moves are done, Karnataka will suffer in intra state train connectivity.

1)Mangalore Bidar via Arisikere Davanagere Hubli Gadag Bellary Guntakal Raichur Gulbarga ---- 4 zone approvals. Not possible
2) Belagavi Bidar via Hubli Gadag Bijapur Kalaburagi. --- Shorter route is via Miraj Kurduwadi Latur. CR can run this train. If via BJP SUR KLBG, then SCR can do. Left to SWR, they will make it run at odd timings in GDG SUR stretch.
3) Extension of YPR BIDR /Latur until Mysuru -- SCR should run a new BIDR MYS via KLBG RC GTL SBC. Current SWR train YPR BIDR/ LATUR

can run in current route daily upto Latur
4) Regularisation of Chennai Shivamogga
also LHB stock for Goa. --- SMET MAS should run in SMET BAY stretch in convenient timings and not at ghost hours. LHB for Goa express SWR is not willing to do.
5) Mangalore Mumbai express via Arisikere
Hubli Belagavi Pune. --- Extend CSTM MAJN upto MAQ. Run MAQ PUNE via ASK UBL MRJ. No need to run a Mangalore Mumbai train in longer route. If SR object, SWR should run Pune to Bantwal/ Puttur, which is in SWR area.
6) Mangalore Hyderabad via Arisikere Chitradurga Bellary Guntakal Kurnool (atleast biweekly needed). ---Agreed.
6) Extension of Gadag CSMT until Hubli. ---- No Hubli extension. Extend to Bangalore via Ballari GTL DMM. Operations with SWR rake.
7) Bengaluru/Chennai Amritsar weekly via Hubli Pune Ahmedabad Jaipur Rewari Rohtak Jakhal Dhuri Ludhiana (new route proposed by me). -- Agree. But there are many trains via interior Karnataka to GJ/ RJ. Proposed SBC ASR should run via DMM GTL KLBG SUR PUNE BSR BRC ADI. This will help different parts of our country getting connected.

In continuation of earlier post some unification possibilities:
SWR can get Mangalore areas. One zone less for Karnataka.
SCR is going to be split into SCR and SCoR. SCoR HQ will be in Vizag and GTL division will be in SCoR. This will be a disaster for Karnataka areas served by GTL division like Raichur Yadgir. As it is, GTL has more than 1300 kms under their control. Why can't a new division be formed under SCR by splitting GTL division? Areas north of GTL upto Wadi and Wadi to KLBG BIDR
...

lines can be in SCR new GTL division. There was a move to create KLBG division but so far horribly failed to materialize. So SCR can get control as a matter of geographical continuity also. If this comes, CR will be out of Karnataka.

These days, every other day, we are getting requests from members to allow email login to their FB-based IRI account. 10 years ago, we had given the option for users to login through FaceBook - in retrospect, this was a mistake. These days, apparently, users are quitting FaceBook in droves because...
