This proposal seems bogus. They talk about NAD and KARAD in the beginning, but in the second part, there's no mention of these stations. It would be better if the train runs from Jaipur to Jodhpur first and then heads to Pune. That route is completely double-tracked and will be electrified in a couple of months. The travel time would stay the same.

Ideally ye train Jaipur se shuru honi chahiye aur Jodhpur tak jani chahiye phir Pune ke liye ja sakti hai kyunki ye route fully double hai aur agle kuch mahino mein yah electrified ho jayega. Time lene mein waisa hi hoga.

Yo, all the trains coming from Virar/Vasai/By are running late by about 10-15 mins during rush hours in both ways. This is because of the Borivali semi fast local crossing at Andheri in the AM and PM, and the Goregaon semi fast local starting in the morning. WR tried to ditch the stop at Jogeshwari for the Goregaon local to sort things out but folks of Jogeshwari went all out protesting, so WR had to backtrack. But now, with all the Andheri slow locals rolling up to Goregaon after the harbour line extension, there are extra services for Goregaon/Jogeshwari peeps. WR should just scrap the Goregaon semi fast cuz it's hella empty these days, not many folks relying on it. Once the 5th and 6th lines stretch to Borivali, even the Malad semi fast locals should hit the road.

Virar/Vasai/By wale trains peak hours mein 10-15 min late aate hain dono directions mein. Reason hai: Borivali semi fast local ka Andheri mein cross karna, subah aur shaam mein, aur Goregaon Semi fast local ka subah mein start hona. WR ne pehle hi try kiya tha Goregaon local ko Jogeshwari mein stop hataane ka, aur situation tab better ho gaya tha par Jogeshwari ke logon ne protest kiya aur WR ko uss faisle ko wapas lena pada. Phir bhi ab sab Andheri slow local Churchgate se Goregaon tak badh gayi hai harbour line ke extension ke baad, toh Goregaon/Jogeshwari wale bahut extra services ke liye saath mein trains milte hain aur WR ko Goregaon semi fast local hata dena chahiye bottleneck ko dur karne ke liye. Anyways, Goregaon local ab thoda khali rehta hai aajkal jisse ke kaafi kam log uspe dependent hain. Jab 5th aur 6th lines Borivali tak extend honge, tab Malad se start hone wali semi fast locals bhi cancel kar deni chahiye.
