Correct me if I am wrong but the proposed train between these 2 cities in this year's budget was suppose to take the route via UJN-GUNA-GWL,then why they are running this special via NAD-KOTA-MTJ??though I agree that this route is much faster and better but if they want to build patronage for the upcoming train then shouldn't they run it on the proposed route.

The proposed train in budget will take the scheduled route of UJN-GUNA-GWL with numbers 19307/08 as and when running dates announced.
This special train has been announced by WR with keeping in mind the festival seasons' rush just for 7 trips each side.
So this is just a matter of time that WR has announced a special train which is different from the proposed route between the two cities.

Vipin the MPs and MLAs in indore have requested the Cent. Govt to run this train (both special and regular services) via Nagda, KOTA route itself as its short, electrified fully and better connected too. Hence, the railways have decided to start the special on this route and once confirmed it will run through Nagda - KOTA route. this is a confirmed information that i got from one of the Sr. Section Engineers - MHOW; who was travelling with me enroute Mumbai to Indore in Avantika a couple of weeks back.

Its great to hear that. If this is going to be the permanent route for INDB-CDG weekly, the train will be a super hit for WR, as it has already shown in the first special run itself.
